COMBINED operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Quezon City Police District arrested three suspects led by an Army soldier after they conspired to sell a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million early morning yesterday in Quezon City.

PDEA chair Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva identified the arrested suspects as Army Private 1st Class Omar Salilaguia, company driver Abdul Amel, 31; and Jonaid Londoy, 27. The soldier was still in complete uniform when he was arrested.

Villanueva said members of the PDEA Special Enforcement Service and Regional Office 4-A, with the assistance of the Q.C. Police District Station 6 arrested the trio at the parking lot of Ever Gotesco Mall at around 8:30 a.m.

Villanueva said that all arrested suspects are now facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
