THE Bureau of Customs at the NAIA has organised a one-stop-shop in its main office to attend to all concerns on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) importations.
NAIA District Collector Mimel Talusan said that the one-stop-shop aims to assist stakeholders by expediting the release of Imported Relief Goods/Articles/Equipment/Medical Supplies intended as donations and attend to all inquiries and concerns related to the importation of PPEs and emergency goods.
Talusan said the OSS will also be responsible in coordinating with other government agencies in processing donated relief goods/ articles/ equipment/ medical supplies.
This initiative is in line with Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero’s directive to expedite the release of medical and PPE shipments that will be used to contain Covid-19.
