Caloocan council backs anti-terror bill

CALOOCAN City Peace and Order Council led by Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan signified their support for the passage of Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 for the sake of the welfare and safety of every citizen.

City police chief P/Col. Dario Menor said the City Peace and Order Council signed a manifest of support for the immediate passage of the bill which aimed to achieve long lasting peace in our society.

"Alam ng ating City Peace and Order Council na ang banta ng terorismo ay maaaring magdulot o makaapekto sa pag-unlad ng ating ekonomiya gaya na lamang ng pagkabahala at pagkawala ng mga turista, mga banyagang mamumumuhunan sa ating bansa at iba pa. Kung ninanais natin ang isang bansang maunlad, ito na ang panahon upang magkaroon ng mabisang panangga sa kriminalidad at terorismo," Col. Menor said in his statement after the signing.
