Caloocan gets P5M for Seal of Good Local Governance award

THE local government of Caloocan received P5 million of Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) as part of its incentive for its fourth Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award.

In behalf of Mayor Oca Malapitan, City Administrator Oliver Hernandez and the city department heads received the check from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The city administrator said Mayor Oca will allocate the incentive fund to street lights project. He added that the last PCF was used for road projects in the city, particularly in the northern part.

PCF is a financial subsidy to qualified local government units under the Local Governance Performance Management Program of the department.
