January 05, 2019

A MAN believed to be a victim of summary execution was found yesterday morning in Caloocan City stuffed inside a black garbage bag and dumped in a dimly lit portion of a road.

The body of the still unidentified victim, wearing a red shirt and black pants, both hands tied with transparent packaging tape and wire looped around his neck, was discovered by residents  around 7 a.m. on P. dela Cruz St., Bgy. 166 in Kaybiga.

Caloocan police deputy chief for administration Supt. Ferdie Del Rosario said the incident was first reported to the Valenzuela City police but when they discovered that the area was not under their jurisdiction, they informed the Caloocan Police Community Precinct (PCP) 6 about the dead body.

Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) found out that the victim was only dumped in the area but killed somewhere else to mislead police investigation.

Police are doing a follow-up investigation.
