Cascolan opens new PNP-CSF satellite office at MPD

PHILIPPINE National Police chief, General Camilo Pancratius P. Cascolan yesterday officially opened the new satellite office of the PNP Civil Security Group at the Manila Police District headquarters which will cater to security guards living in Manila and nearby areas each time they renew their licenses under the new normal.

The program was launched by PNP-CSG director, Major Gen. Israel Ephraim T. Dickson in coordination with the National Capital Region Police Office and the MPD as part of Cascolan’s program to decentralize the services of the different PNP regulatory units and help decongest Camp Crame.

“This is part of our effort to bring our services closer to our clients amid the challenges brought about by COVID-10. We have to plan, do and act immediately to stay relevant and productive to continue our services throughout the pandemic and beyond while strictly adhering to the health protocols to stay healthy and safe as well,” said Dickson.

The PNP-CSG director said they are navigating “the right path to sharply shape a new normal in the service to people amid the pandemic.’

The opening of the Manila satellite office of the PNP-CSG is expected to help reduce the number of security guards living in Manila and its nearby cities who are required to go to the PNP One-Stop Shop in Camp Crame to renew their licenses while braving the long queues and while exposed under the elements.
