CIDG-NCR agents nab Bangladeshi, 2 other wanted men

THREE wanted men including a 29-year old Bangladeshi national were hauled to jail by agents of the National Capital Region Office of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in separate manhunt operations in Metro Manila late this week, CIDG-NCR chief Colonel Arnold Thomas C. Ibay said yesterday.

Rubel Miah, a Bangladesh, wanted for violation of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines, was arrested at his stall Thursday at the 999 Shopping Mall on Soler Street, Binondo, Manila.

Rape suspect Lito Borata, the 10th most wanted person in Eastern Samar, was arrested in front of a drug store at the corner of Tandang Sora Avenue and Barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City. He was arrested by Captains Alvin Christopher Baybayan, Tan. Kevin Estilles and  Emmark Dave Apostol following weeks of surveillance.

ArtJohn Gernandez, 20, of Balut, Tondo, was arrested by Manila CIDG District Field Office personnel led by Major Delta Navarra while in possession of a knife and acting suspiciously in front of a Petron gasoline station in Balut past 5 p.m. Thursday.
