Cops arrest 3 ‘kush’ sellers, 4 stude buyers

OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District (MPD)-Station 5 arrested three male suspects as they were selling high-grade  marijuana or ‘kush’ worth at least P.2 million, including their four buyers in Pasig City.

Police now have in their custody the suspects identified as  NicoJio Alonzo, 24, of  460 Mendoza St., J. Rizal, Mandaluyong City;   Julius Eduard Capili,  33,  of  935 Dr. Fabella St., Plainview, Mandaluyong City and Surgei Rivera, 23, of Tondo, Manila and students Jose Manuel Bacalan, 22,  of 557  Blk 3 Lot 19  St., Paul Compound Palatiw, Pasig; Arsenio Concepcion III, 22, of 643 Cavo F. Sanchez, Mandaluyong and Jason Peter Gonzales, 22,  of C.M. Recto, Manila.      

Supt Igmedio Bernaldez, chief of the MPD-Station 5, said that the operation was conducted inside Room 1201 of the Astoria Plaza in Bgy. San Antonio, Ortigas, Pasig City.       

It was learned that Bernaldez coordinated with the Pasig Police Station in the buy-bust operation, resulting in the arrest of the suspects. Recovered were six transparent plastic packs  containing high-grade marijuana or ‘kush,’ P1,000  worth of shabu and drug paraphernalia.     

Also arrested was the main target of operation identified as John  Carlo Naguit, in whose possession police found 28 grams of  ‘kush’ worth P168,000. His buyers, all students, were also nabbed.
