AUTHORITIES seized at least P2 million worth of shabu from a couple in a buy bust operation Friday afternoon in Caloocan City.

Northern Police District (NPD) Director Ronaldo Ylagan said Saad Beraur, 35 and his wife Emma, 33, both residents of Bgy.188, Tala Caloocan were arrested while in the act of peddling shabu worth P32,000 to an undercover cop at around 3:20 p.m. along Camaro Street, Bgy. 175, Camarin.

Ylagan said the couple’s minor son who were with them inside a Toyota Hi-Ace van (NAX-1789) while the transaction was being carried out, was rescued by elements of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) following the arrest of his parents.

SDEU operatives led by P/Capt. Joel Guimpatan and P/Capt.
