Crame’s Kiangan Hall designated as quarantine area

FOLLOWING reports that two cops tested positive for COVID-19, the Philippine National Police (PNP) designated the Kiangan Hall in Camp Crame as a quarantine area.

This was bared by to PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Lt. Gen. Camilo Pancratius Cascolan .

Cascolan said 53 rooms of the said hall will be used for the possible cases of police personnel.

He said, the first floor of the building will be used by workers such as doctors, attendants, and the nurses.

A total of 53 rooms, 20 rooms on the second floor and 33 on the third floor will be used as quarantine area.

Likewise, Cascolan recommended the Training Services building for those who want to reside in the said hall.

Apart from Kiangan Hall, they are also considering the Camp Crame Elementary School as a quarantine are a but they still have to request for approval from the school’s head.

Meanwhile, the cops who are persons under investigation (PUI) and persons under monitoring (PUM) will be admitted to the quarantine tent, and will not be merged with those who have different illness.

Cascolan assured the camp is safe for everyone as they have safety measure such as daily disinfection by the Headquarters Support Service in every office inside Camp Crame.

All members of Health Service will be assisting policemen who feel sick.
