2 nabbed for drug peddling inside Manila North Cemetery
OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District-Station 3 arrested Thursday night two alleged ‘brains’ behind illegal drug activities inside the Manila North Cemetery in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
The suspects were identified by Station Commander PLt. Col. John Guiagui as Raymond John Datul, 34, driver, member of the Commando Gang and residing at Blk. 8, Lot 14, Cherry Homes St.,Brgy. Mambugdos,Bacoor, Cavite and Theresa Jugo, 52, fruit vendor, of No. 991 Concepcion Aguila St. in Quiapo.
Guiagui said the two were nabbed at around 10 p.m. during a buy-bust operation conducted on Main Avenue inside the said cemetery.
Confiscated from the suspects were eight plastic sachets containing shabu with a street value of P63,444 and weighing 9.33 grams,including the P500 marked money used in the bust.
They were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.
