DIALYSIS patients are now trooping to the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Hospital’s  new ‘Siojo Dialysis Center’ and hailed Mayor Isko Moreno for the ‘door-to-door’ kind of service being provided for them.

Hospital director Dr. Ted Martin said the patients and their families have been profusely thanking Moreno for providing vehicles that ferry patients to and from their homes, saying it is a great  help for all of them.

Martin said the mayor is fully aware that patients become too weak to commute after undergoing  dialysis which is why he provided four vehicles to pick them up and then bring them back home.

Martin said the Gat personnel and patients laud Moreno for all the enhancement and support being given to the said hospital.

‘Good sport talaga si Mayor Isko at hindi siya gaya ng iba na nangunguha ng kredito.  Imbes na angkinin ang kredito, ibinalik ni Mayor Isko ang kredito kay dating Mayor Fred Lim nang ipangalan nya sa lola nito ang Dialysis Center,’ Martin said.

According to Martin and as acknowledged by Mayor Moreno himself, the hospital itself and the dialysis center in it were conceptualized and built by Lim, with an initial four dialysis machines installed. Moreno has vowed to equip it with 100 dialysis machines from the 91 already installed during its recent inauguration.
