SAN Juan Police discovered a clandestine marijuana laboratory and confiscated 3.33 kilos of dried marijuana leaves in a building rented by a Chinese national on Thursday night.
Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) chief, Capt Edwin Malaban, said combined teams of Eastern Police District–District Intelligence Unit (EPD-DDEU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) found around 60 pots of marijuana plants and 3.3 kilos of dried marijuana leaves ready for distribution.
The raiding teams seized 10 pots of marijuana plants at the rooftop of the building being rented by Chinese national Aaron Huang at No. 26-A Sta Rita St., Bgy. Batis at around 7:10 pm.
The raid was based on the search warrant issued by Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 152 Executive Judge Danilo Cruz for violation of Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002.
Around 60 pots of marijuana plants were seized from a fully-airconditioned room equipped with UV light, water supply, lighting and cooling system at the whole fourth floor.
At least 3.33 kilos of dried marijuana leaves ready for distribution were seized by the authorities.
Meanwhile, Mayor Mayor Francis Zamora said the city government is “100 percent all-out” on its campaign against illegal drugs.
