A truck driver of catering services was killed by riding in tandem criminals inside his car parked in front of a store yesterday morning in Muntinlupa City.
Donney Apostol, 39, of B47, L13 Soldiers Hill, Bgy. Putatan was rushed to Muntinlupa Medical Center but was declared dead by Dr. Winston Cristobal, the attending physician, due to multiple bullet wounds in the body.
A report reaching the office of Southern Police District (SPD) director P/Brig. Gen. Nolasco Bathan showed that while the victim was on board a Toyota Vios (NBQ 277) parked in front of Intsik Store located at Block 41 Soldiers Hill and waiting for his cousin Chary Apostol, 36, at around 7:15 a.m., two men on board a motorcycle suddenly appeared and shot him repeatedly in the body.
Apostol, who heard the burst of gunfire, immediately went outside the store and saw her cousin bloodied and slumped inside their car which prompted her to shout for help while the suspects immediately sped away towards Habitat Soldiers Hill Village.
