AFTER three failed attempt on his life, a 28-year-old alleged drug user was killed when riding-in-tandem criminals repeatedly shot him at close range yesterday before dawn in Taguig City.

Lorvie Gonzaga of 75 M.L. Quezon Street, Bgy. Wawa died on the spot from bullet wounds in the head and body while the still unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects immediately escaped towards an unknown direction.

Report reaching the office of Southern Police District (SPD) P/Col. Nolasco Bathan showed that while the victim was walking along Cadena De Amor Street, Bgy. Wawa at around 1 a.m. on his way home, riding-in-tandem suspects blocked his path and without a word shot him at close range repeatedly.

Police said the back rider even alighted from the motorcycle to make sure if the victim was already dead.

Taguig police homicide investigators have gathered information that apart from being a drug user, the victim had previously figured in a love triangle and survived three attempts on his life perpetrated by unidentified gunmen.
