Jailed anew for selling drugs.

A former convict is back behind bars after he was again nabbed by San Juan City Police for selling illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in the city on Wednesday  night.

In a report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) director PBrig. General Christopher Tambungan by San Juan City Police Chief, PCol. Ariel R.Fulol, the suspect was identified as Felix Duran Jr., alias Potpot, 39, and resident of No. 38 3rd West St., Bgy. West Crame, San Juan City.

According to Fulo,  Duran was busted  around  9:45 p.m. by members of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed by PCpt. Edwin Malabanan in a  buy-bust operation along 3rd West St., Bgy. West Crame.

An undercover police agreed to meet at the place and handed the illegal drugs and the suspect took the payment. Upon pre-arranged signal, other operatives immediately arrested the suspect.

Authorities yielded two heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

Aside from a known drug runner Duran is also a notorious drug user in their barangay.

Fulo said the suspect was convicted in 2014 for crime of illegal drugs and released on jail after serving his sentence.

Police received an information that the suspect was back as a “shabu” supplier.

San Juan City Police continue to conduct aggressive operations against proliferation of illegal drugs in the city.

The arrested suspect is now detained at San Juan City Custodial facility  and facing charges of Violation of  Sec  5 and 11  of  RA 9165  or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
