A man posing as a member of Philippine National Police (PNP) was arrested by Marikina police after he tried to extort money from an arrested drug suspect in exchange for dropping of charges following an entrapment operation Sunday.
A report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) director Chief Supt. Bernabe Balba by Marikina police chief Senior Supt. Roger Quesada identified the suspect as Art Criz Viloria, 23, tricycle driver, of Bgy. Malanday, Marikina City.
Viloria posed himself as a member of Cubao Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) was nabbed in an entrapment operation conducted by Marikina Police Station Intelligence Unit headed by Insp. Ramiel Soriano along Lopez Jaena St., Bgy. Jesus Dela Pena, at 4:30 p.m.

Police said the younger Ordonez was arrested on September 24 in a buy-bust operation in Cubao, Quezon City. He was charged with violation of Secs. 5 and 11, Art. 2, RA 9165.
The following day the suspect went to the house of Ordonez in Marikina City and introduced himself as a drug operative and demanded P30,000 on condition that he could reduced the charges against the younger Ordonez so he could post bail.
With this, the complainant gave P25,000 to Viloria in front of the Station 7-Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
On October 13, the suspect again asked for an additional P3,000 as payment for the drug certification with a negative result they will present to the court.
The older Ordonez got suspicious since his nephew is still languishing in jail. He sought assistance from Marikina police.
The two met somewhere in Bgy. Jesus Dela Pena. After handling over the marked money to Viloria, police moved in and arrested him.
Police recovered the P3,000 from the suspect.
