SIX persons wanted for cases ranging from robbery to rape and homicide were presented yesterday by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno following their arrest.

Before this, Moreno and Manila Police District (MPD) Director Gen. Vicente Danao, Jr. jointly destroyed a total of 60 items being used for illegal gambling, consisting of video karera and fruit games machine units, television screens and mother boards.

‘Itong mga ito, mga kabataan ang sinisira nito,’ stressed Moreno as he and Danao hammered away.

After this, Moreno and Danao went on to present six fugitives from the law who were arrested by MPD operatives in separate operations from August 8 to 13.

Moreno said they have been hiding from the law for a period ranging from six months to nine years.

He lauded the efforts of Danao and his men for the capture of the said ‘wanted’ suspects.

Meanwhile, Moreno said a total of 196,000 children in Manila will be targetted for immunization against polio, as he spearheaded the launch of the program aimed at fighting polio city-wide,

Moreno thanked the Department of Health and the Manila Health Department for the project.

The immunization will be carried out in three batches: from August 19 to 30; October 1 to 14 and from November 15 to 30, 2019.
