Isko to remaining truck holdupper: Surrender

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has said that only  one out of the four suspects in the brazen daylight holdup of a truck driver on R-10 recently remains at large, with an assurance that the Special Mayor’s Reaction Team (SMART) under Maj. Jhun Ibay, in cooperation with the Manila Police District (MPD) will be relentless in hunting him down.

This, as Moreno presented two more suspects in the said crime that went viral after it was posted on social media by a netizen who was able to take a video of how the suspects held up a truck driver who was caught up in traffic. Said suspects forcibly opened the door, took the driver’s belongings at knifepoint and then walked away.

In his report to the mayor, the two were identified by Ibay as Jack Dumapi, 18, and Jimwell Jimenez, 20. Found in their possession during their arrest at Gate 2, parking area of Parola Compound were a pen gun and a 12-gauge improvised shotgun loaded with an M-16 assault rifle bullet.

Before them, Ibay’s group arrested Christopher Dumapi alias ‘Toper,’ , 28, a  confessed member of Batang City Jail gang and residing at Barangay 118, Sambayanan, Building H in Tondo, in connection with the incident.

Moreno called on the remaining suspect, ‘Junjun Barola,’ said to be the group’s leader, to surrender already.
