MAYOR Isko Moreno yesterday warned that anybody who will intefere in the implementation of laws can be charged.

Moreno made the warning as he directed city officials to ensure that they fulfill their obligations without fear or favor.

‘Walang opisyal-opisyal. Basta’t nakialam sa kasagsagan ng pagpapatupad ng batas,  arestuhin n’yo,” Moreno said, as he lauded Estero Rangers head Georgette Juco alias ‘Heneral Sucat’ for enforcing what is dictated by rules no matter who gets hurt.

On learning that a security guard sas meddling in the clearing operations being implemented by Sucat, Moreno directed special mayor’s reaction team (SMART) chief Maj. Jhun Ibay to file the necessary charges against the said guard.

What matters is we do our obligation dahil  sa atin umaasa ang tao.’

Moreno said the clearing operations will be a continuing thing as per directive from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The city though, he said, has never stopped its clearing efforts since he assumed office last year.
