A Korean national, who allegedly injected illegal drugs to his female companion, was arrested after authorities discovered an undetermined quantity of shabu inside his bag yesterday morning in Pasay City.

Pasay City police chief Senior Supt. Noel Flores said Seoukwon Choi, 32, of 1010 Positano Azure Condominium, Bicutan, Taguig City, was arrested by elements of Police Community Precinct (PCP) 1, who responded to the call of San Juan De Dios Hospital security personnel at around 5:45 a.m.

In a report received by acting Southern Police District (SPD) director Senior Supt. Eliseo Cruz, the suspect, together with Jennifer Bravoy Guinilang, 31, of Alpha Grandview Condominium, Malate, Manila, checked-in at a hotel on Roxas Boulevard Service Road.

While inside the hotel room, the suspect allegedly injected illegal drugs to the victim, causing her to shiver and went wild then ran outside in the nude, with a bedsheet covering her body until a concerned taxi driver helped her and rushed her to the hospital.

The suspect followed her on board a black car (BEC 616) but when security personnel of the hospital asked him to subject his bag for inspection, he refused, prompting the guard to seek police assistance.

Flores said police also recovered inside the suspect’s car an injection syringe allegedly used by Choi in injecting drugs to the victim.
