CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan and Cong. Dale “Along” Malapitan personally led the distribution of relief packs to residents in three barangays that were badly hit by Typhoon Ulysses Thursday morning.
Mayor Oca said some 2,200 residents from Sapang Saging and Tupda in Barangay 8, Dagat-Dagatan in Bgy. 12 and Pampano in Bgy. 14 were given food packs and relief items for their basic needs.

Earlier, Mayor Oca announced that around 500,000 families will receive four kilos of rice each this coming December as early Christmas gifts.
The distribution will start on the first day of December to make sure all the recipient families will be given before Christmas day.
“Titiyakin natin na lahat ng pamilya ay mabibigyan at walang maiiwan sa ating mga kababayan. Kinakaya po nating bumangon mula sa sunod-sunod na unos at krisis ngayong 2020 kaya’t nagpapasalamat ako sa bawat mamamayan ng Caloocan na patuloy na nagtitiwala at nagmamalasakit sa Pamahalaang Lungsod at kanilang kapwa,” Mayor Oca added.Publication Source : People's Tonight
