A jobless man, known as bad boy in their community, went into a stabbing rampage wounding a Purok Leader and slightly injuring his family members Wednesday evening in Caloocan city.

Jerald Sto Domingo, 32, of Phase 5Y Package 5 Block 27 Lot 31, Bgy. 176 Bagong Silang was still under the influence of liquor when he was arrested by elements of Police Community Precinct (PCP) 3 and barangay officials inside his residence.

A report received by Caloocan police chief Col. Noel Flores showed that while Ramoncito Celeste, 54, Purok Leader of Bgy. 176 and his 15-year old granddaughter Jade Raven were on board a motorcycle on their way home, the suspect, armed with bladed weapon, blocked their path along Phase 5 at around 7 p.m.

Without warning, the Sto Domingo stabbed Ramoncito hitting him in the chest then stabbed Jade Raven who managed to run inside their house.

The suspect chased the girl inside the house and continued his stabbing spree, slightly injuring Mary Joy Celeste, 26, and Jonah Christine Celeste, 34, until he escaped when other members of the Celeste family pacified him.

Ramoncito, though wounded, managed to seek the help of barangay watchmen and with the assistance of police arrested the suspect but failed to recover the weapon he used.

Police said the suspect was harboring a grudge against Ramoncito who frequently rebuked him for his misbehavior especially when drunk.
