A 24-year-old shoe seller was shot dead by a lone gunman in front of his 3-year-old son and live-in partner Thursday evening in Makati City.
Dennis Gile of 2B 207 NHA Merville Access Road, Pasay city succumbed to bullet wounds in the body at 8 a.m. yesterday morning after he underwent surgical operation at St.Claire Medical Center where he was rushed by his live in partner.
Makati police chief P/Col. Rogelio Simon said the incident happened at around 9 p.m. in front of Star Horizon Production Studio at 1533 Filmore St. near corner Ampere St. Bgy. Palanan.
The victim was talking to his live-in partner, Agatha Mae Bernardo, after alighting from a Grab vehicle when a black motorcycle coming from Zobel Roxas St. stopped in front of them.
The suspect, after staring at the victim, as if he was identifying his target, drew an unknown caliber of firearm and shot Gile thrice in the body, then sped away towards Buendia Avenue.
Homicide investigator P/CMSgt. Rico Caramat said Gile was released last month from Pasay City Jail after he was arrested in 2018 for his involvement in illegal drugs.
He and his partner were about to accompany their son at the Star Horizon Production Studio for a supposed photo shoot of the young boy for his commercial modelling when the incident happened.
