MOTORCYCLE-riding suspects shot dead a man before carting away his bag containing payroll money Friday afternoon in Parañaque City.

After gunning down Michael Angelo Manuad the still unidentified suspects immediately escaped taking with them the victim’s bag containing payroll money of Excelsior Travel and Tours reportedly amounting to more or less P900,000.

Parañaque police chief  Col. Robin Sarmiento said the victim was walking outside the City of Dreams Hotel and Casino in Macapagal Avenue, Bgy. Tambo  around 1:35 p.m. when three gunmen on a motorcycle came and shot him dead before taking his bag.

Homicide investigators are still conducting a follow-up investigation to determine if the killing was an inside job since the suspects apparently knew the victim was carrying a huge amount of money.

Col. Sarmiento said investigators are now reviewing footage from a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera installed in the area for possible identification of the suspects.
