THE Manila Police District (MPD) announced the arrest the other day of the alleged leader of the notorious ‘Yambao Gun-for-Hire’ syndicate who is also said to be the ‘most wanted person’ in Pandacan, Manila.
MPD director Senior Supt. Vicente Danao said the arrest of Antonio Yambao Bolasoc, alias ‘Neneth,’ 31, of Int. 28, Zamora Street, Pandacan, Manila, was made at around 10:20 a.m. by members of the District Intelligence Division (DID) Trackers Team in coordination with the Pandacan Police Station 10.
The cops were armed with a warrant for murder issued by Judge Emma Young, presiding judge of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 36, on June 15, 2016 with no bail recommended.
Records reportedly point to Bolasoc as the head of the syndicate which is said to be behind gun smuggling and other illegal activities in Metro Manila.
Also based on records, the said group is reportedly responsible for the murder of one Eric Catud in 2014, at Bgy. 841, Zone 92 in Pandacan.
Bolasoc is now detained at the said police station.
