A 28-year-old masseur was critically wounded when he was stabbed in the chest by his neighbor who allegedly bore personal grudge against him Tuesday evening in Malabon City.
Malabon police chief Senior Supt. Jessie Tamayao said Francis Toralba III, of 14 Riverside, Tullahan, Bgy. Potrero was rushed to Fatima Hospital where he was placed under observation while one of the two suspects, identified as Reny Labong, 34, was immediately arrested by responding policemen while his woman cohort Regine Bolibar managed to escape.
Homicide investigators SPO2 Joselito Bagting and PO2 Philip Cesar Apostol said the incident happened at around 9 p.m. at the 3rd floor of an apartment building, also on Riverside, Tullahan, Bgy. Potrero.
The victim, together with his brothers Enerlito and Remark, 27, were having a drinking spree outside their house when somebody from the third floor of the apartment building threw an empty bottle at them.
The victim immediately went upstairs to look for the culprit but upon reaching the 3rd floor, Bolibar allegedly grabbed him by the neck while Labong stabbed him in the chest.
