MORE rains are expected over Metro Manila, while tropical depression “Dodong” is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility late yesterday, according to state weather bureau.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) Weather Specialist Benison Estarya, said as of 8 a.m. “Dodong” was spotted at 710 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.
It has a maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gustiness up to 60 kph, moving northwest track at 15 kph.
“Dodong” is expected to be out of the PAR late in the day if it stays on its northwest path, said (Pagasa).
Meanwhile, due to moonson rain and vast cloud cluster east of Mindanao, it is possible that it will develop into low pressure area (LPA) over the weekend.
Aside from Metro Manila and Memaropa areas, provinces like Bataan, Bulacan, Zambales and even Aklan and Antique will experience heavy rains this week until weekend.
