HEART-WARMING activities await lovers, couples and even children who want to treat their parents as National Parks Development Committee Executive Director Penelope Belmonte invited everyone to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Rizal Park.
Belmonte said park visitors are invited to see the “Love Tunnel” with dangling hearts located near the Rizal monument where they can have selfies and groufies.
Belmonte said special gifts and freebies will be given to the most liked selfies. Participants only need to like the NPDC Facebook page, then post their photos with loved ones with a hashtag “#LOVETUNNEL@RIZAL PARK”. They also need to tag the NPDC in their post. Just be sure to set your FB account in “public”.
Belmonte said the “Love Tunnel” will be open to the public until February 20.
Meanwhile, beginning at 3 p.m., various activities will be held at the Southdrive corner Parade Avenue, on the western section of Rizal Park. The admission is free.
Among the activities include “Hearts and Arts Activities” from 3 to 6 p.m., followed by the “Couple’s Yoga” in cooperation with the Anytime Fitness from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and a “Valentine’s Day Concert” from 6 p.m. onwards.
The events will be held at the Manila Bay Sunset View area near the Quirino Grandstand.
