New Quezon City Police District chief vows all-out drive vs drugs, rogues

September 22, 2019

NEW Quezon City Police District director Colonel Ronnie S. Montejo has vowed to continue his predecessors’ successful all-out campaign against drugs, rogues in uniform and other forms of criminality.

Montejo, a member of Philippine National Police Academy’ Tagapagbuklod’  Class of  1989 took over as new director of the Q.C.’s Finest vice Brigadier General Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. who has been designated by PNP chief General Oscar D. Albayalde as the new Police Regional Office 13 director in Caraga region.

National Capital Region Police Office director Major General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar called on Montejo to continue the gains made by Esquivel during his 17-month stint with the QCPD. He underscored the need to allay public concern on the festering issue about so-called “Ninja Cops” who are recycling illegal drugs seized during anti-narcotics operations through a no-nonsense effort to weed out erring cops from the force.

Montejo vowed to punish all erring men under his command. “Misfits and illegal behavior in the organization have no place in our ranks,” he said.
