POLICE arrested one of four women who held up passengers of a jeep Friday evening in Caloocan City.
Faye delos Santos, 24, of 538 San Diego St., Bgy. 542, Sampaloc, Manila, was positively identified by waiter Jefferson Perez, 31, and Julie Ann Garcia, 31, both of Bgy. San Agustin, Malabon City as one of the four women who robbed them of cash and gadgets inside a passenger jeep.
Pasay police chief Col. Noel Flores said the suspects, posing as commuters, boarded the jeep in front of a supermarket along Samson Road in Monumento Circle around 9:30 p.m. and at knife point carried out the heist.
After taking a cellular phone worth P7,000 and wallet containing P15,000 cash from Perez and a mobile phone worth P18,000 from Garcia, the four alighted at Samson Road.
The victims immediately sought police assistance.
Elements of Caloocan police responded and chanced upon Delos Santos. They recovered from her the mobile phones but the stolen money had already been divided by her and her cohorts among themselves.
