P400K drugs seized, 5 arrested in QC ops

Quezon City policemen confiscated around P360,000 worth of marijuana and P108,000 worth of shabu from five suspects in separate buy-bust operations conducted by Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) and Talipapa Police Station (PS 3)  Thursday last night in Quezon City.

QCPD Director, PBGen  Ronnie S Montejo said, Novaliches PS 4 under PLtCol Hector Amancia conducted a buy-bust operation against Bryan Ordanza, 22, and Marlon Omas-as alias Ondoy, 24, both residents of Bgy. Balon Bato.

Acting on the information received by PS 4 about the illegal drug activity of the suspects, at about 8:45 p.m. July 9, 2020, a buy-bust was set wherein a police poseur buyer bought P35,000 worth of marijuana from the suspects in front of a building located at Filipino Ave., Teacher’s Bliss Bgy. Balon Bato, leading to their arrest.

Seized from the suspects were more or less three kilos of marijuana amounting to P360,000 in street value, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) under PLtCol Benjamin Gabriel Jr arrested in a buy-bust Mark Robin Delantar, 28, of Bgy. Sto. Cristo, Kervin John Sebastian, 30, and Jane Alcaraz, 31, both from Bgy. Ramon Magsaysay, at about 11:35 p.m. July 9, 2020, at No. 22-B Balayan St., Bgy. Sto. Cristo.

The suspects were listed drug personalities in their barangays.

Aside from the buy-bust money, also confiscated were more or less 15 grams of shabu amounting to Php108,000 and a cellular phone.
