P54K shabu seized from telco firm manager

POLICEMEN confiscated P54,400 worth of shabu from a manager of a telecommunications company and his cohort in a buy-bust operation Monday in Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Ronnie S Montejo identified the arrested suspects as Bryan Christian Oliveros, 38, PLDT Manager, resident of Mandaluyog City and Michael Aviles, 44 resident of Valenzuela City.

The report showed an informant reported to PS 8 about the alleged illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects which prompted them to set a buy-bust at about 1:20 a.m. on September 8, 2020 on No. 25-J, Gateway Regency Pioneer St., Bgy. Barangka IIlaya, Mandaluyong City.

A police who acted as a poseur buyer successfully bought P500 worth of shabu from the suspects that led to their arrest.

Confiscated from the suspects were eight grams of shabu valued at P54,400, the buy-bust money, three cellular phones and a digital weighing scale.

Meanwhile, the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10 ) under PLTCOL Bernouli Abalos arrested in a buy-bust Leonell Joshua Pagaro, alias Boss, 31, of Brgy. Obrero at about 3 p.m. on September 7,2020 along Tomas Morato Ave. Rolling Rd. Brgy. Obrero.

Confiscated were five grams of shabu valued at P34,000, the buy-bust money, a cellular phone and P100 in cash.

A case for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be brought for inquest proceedings at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office against the suspects.
