AN estimated P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from four suspected big-time drug peddlers in a buy-bust operation by combined teams of Pasig Police at the parking lot of a fast food chain branch on Friday night.

Pasig Police chief Col. Moises Villaceran Jr. identified the suspects as  Mario Bien alias Mar, 51, of Vicper Street, Bgy. Malinao;Renesar Bernardo, alias Esar, 26, of No. 9 E. Santos, Brgy. Palatiw; Erwin Cruz alias Win, 27, of San Agustin Farmers Ave., Bgy. Malinao, and Sigwald Perolina alias Sig, 33 , of Ubano Velasco Ave., Bgy. Pinagbuhatan all in Pasig City.

Villaceran said Bien is listed in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and  Pasig Police Station drug watch lists. He has been the subject of previous buy-bust operations by authorities.

Villaceran said Bien and the three other suspects had been dealing in illegal drugs for several years and Bien was the prime target of Pasig Police for quite some time.

The four were busted during an operation at the parking lot of a fast food chain branch on Vicper, Bgy. Malinao, Pasig City.

According to Villaceran, prior to the operation Bien had been identified by his runner who was earlier arrested by police in a buy-bust operation in Bgy.Pinagbuhatan a week ago.

The runner called Bien on his cellphone and informed him that a new buyer wanted to order shabu and agreed to meet the dealer at the fast food restaurant but unknown to him he was transacting with an SDEU cop.
