Police nab 2 for discrimate firing

A CONSTRUCTION worker suspected to be involved in peddling illegal drugs was arrested along with his co-worker for indiscriminate firing on New Year’s Eve in Navotas City.

Alexander Illustrisimo alias “Sander”, 27, of No. 49 Baron St. Bgy. North Bay Boulevard North (NBBN), and Glenn Monares, 36, of No. 417 Bgy. NBBN, were arrested at the corner of R-10 and Linchanco Street in Bgy. NBBN, at around 6:45 p.m. when a concerned citizen reported the incident to Navotas Police Tactical Operation Center.

Navotas deputy police chief for administration Supt. Ferdinand Balgoa said a caliber .45 pistol with magazine loaded with two bullets was recovered from Illustrisimo. Aan empty shell was recovered by police in the area. When frisked, each suspects yielded a plastic sachets of shabu.

Police said still verifying reports that the suspects were allegedly involved in a murder case and had pending cases of concealing deadly weapon.
