Pray for Monette, former VP Binay

FORMER Vice President Jejomar Binay deplored the attempt on the life of the former executive assistant of his son, ex-Makati Mayor Junjun Binay, and offered a P1 million reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrator.

Binay said he was deeply saddened by the attack on Monalisa “Monette” Bernardo. “Isa syang malapit at tapat na kaibigan ng aming pamilya sa nakalipas na tatlumpung dekada,” the elder Binay said.

He said there was no place for violence in Makati. Neither is there room for hate at this time when all should be praying for the recovery of Monette.

He called on his fellow residents of Makati to stay calm.

He called for prayers for Monette for peace in their beloved city.
