QCPD gets brand new motorcycles

OUTGOING Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista yesterday turned over 75 brand new Yamaha NMAX motorcycles to the local police to further improve police visibility in the city.

In his short message during the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal, Bautista said the city government has nothing to ask for the leadership of Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel but to maintain peace and order at all times.

“These additional law enforcement resources will further improve the logistical capabilities of the local police force in patrolling the communities and ensuring that the peace and order are maintained in their respective area of responsibility,” the city mayor said.

Bautista said the brand new motorcycles will boost the capabilities of police units to respond quickly to calls for law enforcement and police service.

The outgoing mayor added that the city government is now open to bid for more logistical equipment to strengthen QCPD’s anti-crime capability especially against terrorism.

Esquivel expressed his gratitude to the city government for always being very supportive to QCPD.
