Sen. Poe’s pa-in-law hurt while parking vehicle

The Toyota Innova of Senator Grace Poe’s father-in-law Dr. Teodoro Paraiso Llamanzares lies upside down after it fell from the third level of Parking 4 Promenade.

THE father-in-law of Senator Grace Poe was injured after the vehicle he was parking fell from the third floor of a carpark building at the Greenhills Shopping Center yesterday morning in San Juan City.

San Juan Police chief Senior Supt. Dindo Reyes said Dr. Teodoro Paraiso Llamanzares, 83, a retired physician and residing at No. 9 Nevada Street, Northeast Greenhills, in Bgy. Greenhills, San Juan City, sustained body injuries and was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center. He is now in stable condition.

Reyes said the incident happened at around 9:45 a.m. at the third level of Parking 4 Promenade located at the Greenhills Shopping Center. The victim was parking his vehicle when he accidentally stepped on the accelerator.

The vehicle accelerated into the metal railing and fell to the ground upside down. Police said the victim had just come from the Church and had just dropped off his wife at the supermarket when the incident happened.
