REPORTEDLY owing to an old grudge, a 72-year-old overseas Filipino worker shot dead his 64-year-old nephew and then also killed himself in the same fashion yesterday morning in  Pandacan, Manila.

Initial probe by the Manila Police District-Police Station 10 said the incident took place at around 8:40 a.m. right in front of the house being shared by both the suspect and the victim  at 1832 Int 22 Dapo St., Pandacan.

Victim Eduardo Magalona, a taxi driver, was said to have been shot in the head by his uncle Arnulfo Gaton who then also shot himself in the right temple using a  .38 cal. gun.

It was learned that the victim was watering the plants when the suspect shot him.

Police later gathered that the suspect bore an old grudge against his nephew which may have triggered the shooting.
