A 16-year-old boy is now facing multiple criminal charges after he tried to shoot a man but instead hit a bystander Thursday night in Makati City.
Charges for frustrated murder, illegal possession of firearms and violation of Omnibus Election Code will be filed against the 16-year-old sound system crew and resident of No. 5309 Diesel St. in Bgy. Palanan.

The minor suspect left but a few minutes later returned already armed with handgun and shoot Petilia but missed. He instead hit a bystander identified as Ramil Sarmiento in the cheek.
Petilia was able to grab the gun of the suspect while some bystanders who witnessed the incident mobbed him when he tried to escape.
