A 19-YEAR-OLD listed as most wanted by Hagonoy police for raping a 16-year old sister of his girlfriend was collared by joint operatives of San Juan Police and Hagonoy Police Station in San Juan City n Saturday afternoon.
San Juan Police chief, PCol Ariel R.Fulo, identified the suspect as Geoffrey Javillo, residing at Purok 6, Bgy. Sto Rosario, Hagonoy, Bulacan.
Fulo said, Javillo was nabbed by joint operatives of San Juan and Hagonoy Police Stations at the suspect’s hideout at Gen. San Luis St., Bgy.Tibagan, San Juan City at around 4 pm.
The arrest was based on the warrant issued by Judge Veronica Vicente De Guzman, of Malolos, Bulacan Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 9 for Rape in relation to the Anti-Child Abuse Law dated July 3, 2019.
Records showed, the suspect has been accused by a grade 10 student,16 ,of raping her on February 15, 2017 inside the suspect house in Hagonoy, Bulacan.
Investigation disclosed the girl went to the suspect’s house to look for her sister who was reportedly the girlfriend of Javillo .When the victim did not find her sister, she started to leave but the suspect dragged her inside and forcibly raped her.
She was threatened to be killed by the suspect if she would tell anyone about the incident.
The victim was forced to confess to her family after the suspect started spreading rumors in their neighborhood that he had sex with the two sisters.
