Members of the NCRPO-RSOU headed by Superintendent Rogarth Campo tracked down the suspect following weeks of surveillance, Eleazar said.

The official said that the suspect is the subject of a complaint filed by his aunt Leonila Masangcay. The case stemmed from the failure of the suspect to return the complainant’s Toyota Vios.

Supposed to be, Masangcay asked the suspect to use the car in the Grab Transport service but she and her family later discovered that the vehicle was lent by the suspect to some financiers at the Midas Casino in Pasay City.

Eleazar said that the suspect is now being held at the NCRPO-RSOU detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig City. As soon as a commitment order is issued to him by the court, Masangcay will be turned over to the Pasig City Jail, the NCRPO chief said.
