AFTER a misunderstanding with her lesbian live-in partner, a 23- year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself inside their room Sunday afternoon in Navotas city.
Navotas police chief P/Col. Rolando Balasabas identified the victim as a certain Mae Dela Cruz whose lifeless body was discovered by her live-in-partner hanging inside their room at Phase 11 Bgy. North Bay Boulevard South (NBBS) at around 3 p.m.
The victim looped a blanket around her neck and tied the other end to the upper part of the double-deck wooden bed to end her life.
Col. Balasabas withheld the name of victim’s live-in partner who was reportedly a public school teacher to protect her reputation.
The victim’s relative told police that Dela Cruz already survived several attempts on her life and they are convinced that no foul play had been committed.
However, Col. Balasabas said the victim’s cadaver will still undergo an autopsy examination at the PNP Crime Laboratory and the incident will be further investigated.
