POLICE arrested a murder suspect who treacherously stabbed to death his neighbor following their heated altercation shortly after midnight yesterday in Caloocan city.
Bonifacio Bendoy, 43, construction worker, was starting to pack up his things in an attempt to escape to his house at No. 5 Kakawati St. Bgy. 179 Amparo Subdivision when elements of Caloocan Police Community Precinct (PCP) 4 led by P/Capt. Rengie Deimos reached him at around 12:45 a.m. and placed him under arrest.
Caloocan police chief P/Col. Noel Flores said that earlier, Jonathan Rojales, 28, was walking on his way home along Kakawati St. when he passed by a group of men having a drinking session in front of suspect’s house at around 8:45 p.m., Tuesday.
Bendoy, who was one in the group of men having drinks, confronted Rojales for still unknown reason that resulted in their heated altercation.
