Eleazar to meet militants for 4th SONA security

AS part of the security preparation on the 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Philippine National Police (PNP)-National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Major General Guillermo Eleazar will meet leaders of militant groups who are expected to hold protest actions to ensure peace, order and safety on July 22.

Kidnapped Chinese rescued by CIDG

A CHINESE tourist believed to have been kidnapped and tortured by a gang of casino loan sharks in Makati City was rescued by agents of the National Capital Region Office of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the local police on Thursday, a report to PNP-CIDG director, Major General Amador V. Corpus said yesterday.
