THE chairman of the House Committee on Metro Manila Development has urged the local government units (LGU’s) to cooperate in the clearing of “Mabuhay Lanes” or alternate routes of illegally parked vehicles to ease traffic during the Christmas season.
“The rule of law must always prevail in a democracy. There is no room for shortcuts that impair the legal processes. Let the constitutional processes proceed without fear or favor,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a press statement.
