THE Philippine National Police (PNP) Task Force Hamungaya filed charges against 25 members of breakaway group of Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) who were involved in the deadly bombing in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat that killed three persons and wounded several others last August 28, 2018.
This was confirmed by PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde.
Albayalde said the charges were filed by PNP Special Investigation Task Group Hamungaya before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Sultan Kudarat.
The accused were identified thru the nature of the way they executed their bombing activities particularly in populated areas victimizing civilians.
The SITG was represented by Police Senior Superintendent Oliver Enmodias, Deputy Regional Director for Operation and chairman of the SITG.
One of the accused was led by Aladin Mohammad Kikay and 24 others.
According to PRO 12 director Police Chief Supt. Eliseo Tam Rasco charges of multiple murder with multiple frustrated were filed against the suspects.
