THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) yesterday said 49 new COVID cases among Filipinos abroad were reported, bringing the total confirmed cases to 13,828.
With eight new recoveries, there are now 8,828 people who were discharged from the hospital.
Meanwhile, 4,055 are still undergoing treatment and deaths have reached 945.
“Today, the DFA reports 49 new COVID-19 cases, 8 new recoveries, and no new fatality among Filipinos abroad. To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 84,” the DFA said.
The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic, the DFA said.
