Madrigal stressed that the AFP will continue to undertake necessary steps to ensure that the tragic incident is properly investigated and to prevent it from happening again.

Meanwhile the PNP now considers as suspects the three PMA cadets initially named persons of interest.

The three are upper classmen of Dormitorio composed of two 3rd class cadets and one first class cadet.

According to Baguio City Police Director Police Colonel Allen Rae Co, the PNP prepared charges against the suspects after the statements of other cadets matched with the result of the autopsy conducted by the Baguio PNP Crime Laboratory on the victim’s body.

The Baguio PNP has been reported to have declared Dormitorio’s case as a hazing death.

Based on the investigation, Dormitorio was rushed to PMA station hospital thrice.

The first time was on August 20 and he was confined until August 27, 2019.

The second was on September 7, 2019 and the last on September 17, 2019.
