FOREIGN Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. yesterday received from the government of Singapore a donation of COVID-19 test kits and a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
Singaporean Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho turned over the donation in a simple ceremony.
Health Undersecretary Mario C. Villaverde and Deputy Chief of Mission Zhou Suli were present during the donation.
Last Monday, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph del Mar Yap signed on behalf of Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III, the Deed of Donation for the COVID-19 test kits and one Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.
Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Director General Constance See signed the Deed on behalf of Singapore and she was represented during the signing ceremony by MFA Country Officer Olivia Chong.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the officers of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.
